With our volunteers making almost 1300 runs in 2023, some things around the stations needed some love. We reached out to the University of Evansville to see if they have a couple volunteers that could maybe help us, but they responding by adding us to their Martin Luther King Community Service Day and sent out 32 students/staff/alumni to help us fill a dumpster with old equipment, cleaning the station and gave it a nice clean smell, along with cleaning up our trucks. For a roster of exhausted first responders from staying on top of all the emergency runs, this was note only much appreciated help, but also a giant boost in pride for our members. THANK YOU to the University of Evansville and their amazing volunteers that sure made a difference for us!
