The department will send 3 members to the Fire Department Instructors Conference in Indianapolis, IN, to attend the classroom conferences and exhibits.  We will go up on Tuesday evening, with classes starting Wednesday morning.  The department will provide the member with a hotel stay from April 21st (Tue) through April 25th (Sat) and will cover the conference fees.  

All other expenses shall be covered by the member (i.e., travel, food, and other entertainment)

To be considered for the trip, the member must be willing to complete as many sessions as possible, working with the team, and then bring the knowledge back to teach at least one class per attendee. We will also be asked to conduct research in the exhibit halls, as requested by the Chief and Board of Directors. 

Wednesday:  Opening Ceremony starts at 8:30am, Classroom from 10:30-5:15
Thursday: Classroom sessions from 8:30-5:15
Friday: Classroom sessions from 8:30-12:30

Exhibit Halls are open: Friday until 5:30 and Saturday 9 am-1 pm.

If you would like to be considered, we need a firm commitment, as registration must be completed by March 3rd, and the attendee cannot be changed.  We would incur a significant loss if the member backed out.  Before you apply, ensure you can make this commitment without reservation.
