The Perry Township Volunteer Fire Department has been serving the residents of Perry and Union Township since 1959. Perry & Union Townships are located on Evansville, Indiana's west side in Vanderburgh County. Union Township is surrounded on three sides by the Ohio River. We have 12 fire and rescue apparatus housed in three stations. Our department carries an average of 45 members (male & female) and we average more than 700 runs a year.

	ENGINE 1 (7E1) - 2002 Ferrara Diesel with a 1500 GPM (Gallons Per Minute) Pump, 1000 Gallon Tank, Gas & Electric Ventilation Fans, 1100ft 5" Supply Hose, 10 Gallon Foam Tank, Ventilation Saw, Laser Temp Gun, Thermal Imaging Camera, Defibrillator, Medical Equipment, and Carbon Monoxide Detector.
	ENGINE 2 (7E2) - 1982 Oshkosh Diesel with a 1250 GPM Pump, 2000 Gallon Tank, 1800 Gallon Portable Tank, 400 GPM Portable Pump, Float-A-Pump, 1100ft 5" Supply Line.
	ENGINE 3 (7E3) - 1975 Ford Diesel with a 750 Gallon Tank, 1000 GPM Pump, 750 Gallon Tank, 800ft of 3 1/2" supply line, chain saw, GPS, Defibrillator, and Medical Bag.
	BRUSH 3 (7B3) - Toyota Pickup with a 90 Gallon Tank, Electric Winch, Chain saw.
	ENGINE 4 (7E4) - 1987 Spartan-FMC Diesel with a 1000 Gallon Tank, 1500 GPM Pump, 5000 Watt Portable Generator, Electric Fan, 10 Gallons of Foam, 1100 Ft 5" Supply Line, Laser Temp Gun, Thermal Imaging Camera, Defibrillator, Medical Equipment, and Carbon Monoxide Detector.
	Rescue 5 (7R5) – 2007 Ferrara Heavy Rescue on MAC Chassis with a 1250 GPM (Gallons Per Minute) Pump, 500 Gallon Tank, 30 Gallon Foam Tank, Vent Saw, Medical Equipment, Defibrillator, Medical Bag.
	BRUSH 6 (7B6) - 1977 Ford 4-Wheel Drive with a 200 Gallon Tank, 90 GPM Pump, 8000 LB Winch, Chain Saws
	Rescue 6 (7R6) – 2006 F-350 Super Duty with an Omaha Utility body Has EMS Equipment, Defibrillator, GPS, Swift Water Rescue Equipment, Ice Water Rescue Equipment, and Light Tower.
	RESCUE 7 (7R7) – 2006 SVI Medium Rescue on a GMC 5500 Chassis, with 15 KW Generator, 4-Bottle Cascade System, Amkus Rescue Tools, Short & Long Hydro Ram, Defibrillator, Medical Equipment, Light tower, Swift water Rescue, Ice Water Rescue, SCUBA, and GPS.
	Rescue 8 (7R8) – 2004 Dodge Durango 4x4 Carbon Monoxide Detector, Medical Bag, and Defibrillator
	LADDER 1 (7L1) - 1996 E-One Quint with 100 ft. ladder & 200 Gallon Tank., 1500 GPM Pump, Chain Saw, Vent Saw, Gas Ventilation Fan, 900ft 5" Supply Line, and Medical Equipment.
	WATER 1 (7W1) - Water Rescue Jon Boat
	WATER 2 (7W2) – 2000 Scorpion Rescue boat with Side sonar, Medical Equipment, Ice Water Rescue, and Swift Water Rescue Equipment.

Our department is a totally volunteer department, where members do not receive financial compensation for their time given to the department. We support our department off a annual state operating budget and donations given to us by residents of Perry & Union Townships.
